I’m passionate about building community, connecting with our true selves within nature and doing all I can to honour the land.

On my journey so far I’ve experienced several different communities including the Edward Carpenter Community in my twenties, being actively involved in organising events, helping with communications and living in an intentional community in London. I’ve been active with my local allotment association and worked on the committee for fifteen years in various roles. Over the last six years I’ve been very engaged with the Radical Faeries, helping with communications, organising gatherings and events to build our community. I’ve been involved with several other community groups, organising many charity and social events. Before working as a freelance photographer for the last fifteen years, I worked in various roles for Royal Mail including Project Management, Marketing Strategy, Market Analysis, Financial Planning & Strategy.

I’m currently learning about various low impact building techniques at the Centre for Alternative Technology and volunteering with different eco projects in Wales. I’m currently on the six month woodland management skills course at Coppicewood College.

I’ve had a dream since being a teenager of developing a queer eco community. After decades of conversations it’s time to help turn these conversations into action. After seeing the impacts city life, and disconnection from nature, has had on me, many people close to me and on my community at large, I am passionate to help find a place where queer folk can build a thriving community. Never has there been a greater need for thriving, nurturing communities that embraces all forms of life, in all their diversity.
