From the White Spring at Imbolc

I am the seed that the winter holds
I am deep within the earth
I wait for the days to warm the soil
And come the time I will burst forth

So turn the wheel, let the river flow

I am the shoot rising in the spring
I am young, I am quick and keen
I wait for the rain, my buds to swell
And come the time we are all in green

So turn the wheel, let the river flow

I am the tree that the summer holds
I am strong, from crown to root
I wait for the sunlight upon my leaves
And come the time, I will bear fruit

So turn the wheel, let the river flow

I am the leaves that the autumn yields
I am fading with the year
I wait for the breeze to loose my hold
And come the time, I am earth once more

So turn the wheel, let the river flow
